日本企業のうつ病対策は不十分

[:ja]デンマークに本社をおくルンドベック社は「職場でのうつ病の影響調査」を実施した。同調査を受けて、ルンドベック・ジャパン株式会社が発表したその結果は?

同調査は、2014年日本を含む16か国で行われ、対象人数は約16,000人に及んだ。

「職場でのうつ病の影響調査」の結果をいくつかをみてみると

「従業員がうつ病になっていると知って、あなたはどうしましたか?」との問いに「自分に何か役に立てることはないかと尋ねた」と答えた割合が多かったのは、「メキシコ」で67%。次いで「オーストラリア」の57%、「南アフリカ」の56%と続く。「日本」は16%で最下位だった。

同じ問いに「何もしない」と答えた割合が最も多かったのは「日本」の40%。2位の「アメリカ、カナダ」は20%。日本は何もしない人の割合が、アメリカやカナダの2倍に及ぶという結果になった。

うつ病の経験者1000人にどのような症状になったか尋ねたところ、最も回答が多かったのは「気分の落ち込み、悲しい気持ち(88%)」。次いで「睡眠障害、不眠症(75%)」、「日々の活動に関する関心の喪失(73%)」と続く。

自社のうつ病になった従業員に対するサポートに満足している管理職の割合は、日本は21%と最低だった。先進国で最高のフランス70.2%の3分の1にも満たなかった。

日本企業のうつ病対策が望まれるところである。

[:en]Lundbeck company, a global pharmaceutical company based in Denmark put “depressed investigation of the influence at a workplace” into effect. Lundbeck Japan Corp announced the result of the investigation in 2015.

The survey was conducted over 16 countries including Japan in 2014, and the target number of people reached about 16,000 people.

Below are the part of the outcomes that were observed in various countries;

“When you notice an employee suffers from depression, how do you react to them?”  67% of Mexican employees replied to that question  “I asked myself whether I could do anything for them.”   Next follows with 57% of “Australia” and 56% of “South Africa”. “Japan” was the lowest rank by 16%.

40% of Japanese employees replied to the same question “There is nothing I can do “.  Following United States and Canada are 20%.  Japan was two times higher  in comparison with United States and Canada.

Asking 1000 employees who suffered from depression about their symptoms of depression, they replied “the feeling of sadness and blue (88%)”,  next follows”sleep disorder and insomnia (75%)”, and then with “loss of the interest about the daily activity (73%)”.

Japan was 21% and this is the minimum percentage of the manager satisfaction for support to the employee  at workplace. It was also filled with an advanced country in 1/3 of the best French 70.2%.

Countermeasures for depression  are  the first priority for Japanese company to improve.
